nm baal when??

clvl 58 LightTrapper SP HC untwinkadinked..so im cruising right along, pretty much just playing player level 1. I just got to WSK wp. im doing 1-2056 light trap dmg, and just maxed deathsentry, working on FB next to max. Life at 700. What do you think is a safe level to try and NM baal?? little nervous being HC of course, beat NM diablo and Ancients no problem, and on first try, (running like a little girl in circles of course , but merc never died either ) but i'm pretty hesitant about pushing on yet to NM Baal.

just curious for some wisdom , before i make a foolish decision |||Assuming you have decent resistances and you play relatively carefully, you should be fine. Level 58ish is very low for the start of hell, though, so you'll definitely want to level up a bit (at least near 70). NM Baal is a good levelling spot, though. Raising the /players setting a bit would make the levelling go faster, I'd raise it slowly, though, so as to avoid getting yourself over your head in HC.|||Well i went ahead and tried Baal at lvl 59, and beat him first try, was pretty surprised. Took about 3minutes heh, but i was never in danger, so stuck with it

Hell act I actually alittle too tough, merc has gone down too often, and is costing me 22k per resurrection, sooooooo...i guess back to lvl for awhile in NM again. (clvl 64)

Found a Ko,Fal,Dol so far, in NM (Fal at forge), without any reruns, and NM countess only dropped Tir,Tal,Ral... so not too unhappy i guess. but only runewords i have going so far is "rhyme" shield, and "lore" helm.

Did get String of Ears belt in NM act 5, but best armor i have found is Sigon so far. So as a trapper should i be looking to make Treatury? right now i have 4soc random armor with 4 P-topaz in it to help with MF since im obviously staying away from melee being first HC sin, and a rookie lvl playing experience with them. I have sigon boots and gloves as well, not exactly too sure on crafting yet, so im wearing these till i find better.

Having a blast so far , but unfortunately, i think i need to start running countess and mephy to find some better runes and gear to start hell with. |||Well play safe since you are hc. wow to be honest , i haven't used MB one time all the way to hell act 1 hahha! i actually forgot to even try it. I have been casting 3 light traps 2 deasth sentries, and then CoS...MB i have neglected totally! might have to go back to NM act 1 to try it out lol...

total sin nubiness |||Actually that isn't too bad as you've managed well without it - though in Hell is when you really need it.

Don't be afraid to do NM bosses repeatedly for drops as you still will find some nice stuff in NM, as some popular items actually drop better there (albeit not by much).
