Trapsin Gear, Why these?

I've seen multiple people asking to get Griffons eye diadems for their trapsins, I thought that the +/- lightning stuff didn't work on the traps?

Also, why do they go for 4x 5/5 light facet shields? Does that -/+ work for the traps?

Also, using a Trapsin, what gear do you use? I've got these items (just thinking)

Griffons with a 5/5 facet

Enigma

4x 5/5 light facet monarch

Should I use a trap claw, or would Crescent Moon's -resists work with the traps?

Using an infinity mercenary, and all the -resist gear I should be able to completely annihilate any non breakable immune in the game, correct?

If I'm laying traps or shock webbing an entire pack of monsters, how the the - enemy resists work? Will it pick the monster I click (if any) or does it work like conviction affecting all monsters in a certain radius?

Final question: What do you hotkey? There are sooo many skills, I'm just wondering what you use most often enough to hotkey for fast switching.|||Quote:

+- resist gear doen't work with traps, as they are classified as "minions" in the documentation. You would be better off with + skills items. Though some guides suggest griffons for it's 25 fcr to reach assassin's fcr breakpoint for teleport (note: not because it gives +- light resist). However the +- resist would work with shock web as it's not a summoned trap

The +- enemy resist is applied to any enemy you deal damage to.

The most common hotkeys are: asdfg zxcvb e space f1 - f5 (i use these for any kind of buffs i have). You should figure what to bind on those keys by yourself. Those that are further should be binded to some not very commonly used skills (for example I use "g" for valkyrie on amazon or golem on necro) and those that are most comfortable to use should be binded to some skills which you switch lika a madman (eg. I use most common battle skills on sdfe, "f" - teleport). Anyhow, you should find whats the most useful for you by yourself.|||I personally just use f1-f12 and 6,7,8,9 along with the standard keys.

I don't really get it why people want to use qwerty ect...|||qwerty is close to WASD that people are familiar with due to a vast amount of games.

My set up uses f1-12, W, E, A, S, D, F, X, C.

Q is my swap, r is run as normal, and they're all grouped in a bunch rather than a line.

If it's comfy, use it.|||Like mentioned above, people thinking -elr and facets improve lite damage are simply being fooled by the LCS (lying character screen).

Hoto/Spirit is a decent setup (and on the cheaper side), dual bartucs aren't bad thanks to some of the additional mods, and its even possible to shop some nice claws depending on your level.

But if you're really looking for nice, you have to look into special rares with mods suited to your build. Griffon's is used basically because there's no other way on ladder to hit the 102 fcr breakpoint using claw/claw without it.|||the only use for a Griffons on a 'sin is for the extra FCR if you REALLY want 102% FCR claw/claw wearing an enigma.

the only other option is an 08 Valk and good luck on that one.
