Tragics's PvM WW shredsin Guide Ver 3.0 (Updated)

Nice work! An alternate equipment selection may be helpful, though. While 'Chaos' is a given for this build, some players may not be able to afford an additional 'Fury' claw or Steelrends...

/me stickies topic|||Personally I disagree with Steelrends, as they are expensive for no reason. I really don't think the enhanced damage is all that. If all you need is the 10% CB.. well..

I think Draculs are unbelievable, myself. Start the battle with Blade Fury (Chaos claw primary) - once they're all tagged with Life Tap, how can you die?

I'm not quite sure why you're adding more skill points into Blade Sentinel. Duration.. is it really that critical? I can understand Blade Shield (its duration is AWFUL). But Sentinel? I do like what you're doing, though - tossing them out after whirls. Smart.

You should be aware that dual weapon mods don't add together - they only apply when that weapon is striking. And Blade Sentinel should be using the first claw you equip (probably your Chaos claw). I'm not sure if you're doing it here, but adding the OW of your Fury to the OW of Chaos, for example, is not valid. Can't do that with DS either, as the +33% DS boost only applies when the Fury claw is actually hitting.

For that reason I think it's important to consider other offhand claws, especially if they won't be hitting that much. Bartucs or Jade Talons might be a good thing, especially if resists are a problem or the player wanted to combine this with dtalon...|||ummm... i do beleive that you calculated you CB wrong. if im not mistaken, the game checks each perrcentage separately, it doesnt add them together.

so, first, the game would check for the 35%. if that fails, it will check for the 15% from gores, then from any other equipment. so you dont have 90%, you have low% separate sources.

i think this also applies for DS, CS, and OW as well.

correct me if im wrong.|||Quote:

There will be one random check for a Crushing Blow.

Also, why would it do multiple checks? It doesn't do that with DS, OW, etc.|||CB adds together and rolls once.

(except from the CB on two separate weapons; each will apply only when that weapon strikes)|||Quote:

Hi Bovine, thanks for the feedback.

Steelrends remains my top choice because it adds up to 75% crushing blow. 10% may seem little but I would average 3/4 of my hits inflicted as crushing blow. This guide main focus is crushing blow. Likewise, its really a matter of preference. Basically crushing blow is the deciding factor to speed up the killing of monsters, far more than open wound or venom.

Drascul's still remain a good choice, also cheap to get and i like the interesting point of activating life tap for life leech with blade fury. Right now, even without life tap, i can still leech comfortably with the leech increment provided from blade shield. ;]

Blade Sentinel - The simple answer is at lvl 1 you can't cast 5 sentinels at once. The reason you have to add is because sentinel has a 2 sec delay. You can only start casting up to 5 blade sentinels after 14 points are invested due to each blade lasting only 10.2 secs at lvl 14. At lvl 8 you can cast 4, and lvl 6 @ 3 blades. To make blade sentinel work effectively, you need at least a lvl 6 sentinel to set them spinning at 3 blades in a given 6.3 secs. And of course it sure looks cool and intimidating to see blades spinning with you. So I hope that helps. Like I said 5 blades deal an extra 2.5k dmg.

Open wounds on dual claws dont add together? Pardon me but i didnt know that. However, this is not an issue. Note that Fury = 66% OW, Duress = 33%OW and Gorerider = 10%. Allowing 109% OW. Chaos claw should be your main hand of course to allow 3/8 of magic damage by chaos to blade sentinel.|||Hey guys I made a slight error in the damage.

This shld be the correct damage when you equip the chaos claw on your left hand.

1 blade sentinel - 822-1112 dmg

1 blade shield - 606-826 dmg|||Do you have any money problems with repairing your Chaos claw? I thought it was hideously expensive. Or do you have a stash of Ort runes?|||Quote:

Since Steelrends are used mostly for the CB%, wouldn't Blood crafted gloves be a much better choice, as they can provide rather nice boni in addition to 5%-10% CB?|||[QUOTE=belth]Since Steelrends are used mostly for the CB%, wouldn't Blood crafted gloves be a much better choice, as they can provide rather nice boni in addition to 5%-10% CB?[/QUOTE
