dragon talon questions

I have been looking all over the internet, but there's nowhere I could find an answer @ my questions. So I hope you guys might be able to answer them. Please don't answer when you don't know 100% sure:

will fool's mod work on dragon talon?

if yes:

will fool's mod work from both claws on dragon talon?

/e: will crushing blow work from an offhand claw?

2. Only on the fool's claw itself. It will show 2x attack ratings, one will be MUCH higher due to fools.

3. It is calculated independently, and only when that claw makes contact.

For instance, your primary has CB (your only source) and you hit with it. CB can trigger. The secondary (zero CB and none on other gear) can't trigger it, due to them being independent.

If primary / secondary had for example 35% (prim) and 55% (ber'd sec), then the 55% will work, and when hitting with the other, it's only a 35% chance.|||Quote:

I think Sass misread your post and thought you were asking about dclaw.

Anyways for the answers you are looking for:

Yes fools from the primary claw works on kicks (this ar however is not displayed on the lying character screen)

No the primary claw does not add anything to kicks.

Mods that work on kicks such as cb% only work from nonweapon + primary weapon. Offhand never adds anything to kicks.

Are you building this kicksin for pvm or pvp? If pvm you should consider w/s options instead of claws. Im assuming you want pvm since you brought up cb% which is insignificant for pvp kicksins.|||Quote:

weeeeellll the third did kinda make it seem like he was talking claws >< I didn't mean Dclaw specifically, but then again I kinda didn't consider still talking about talon. Why still escapes me.



But on the note of double effect of fools, it wouldn't boost to 2x the ar. Only the primary fools would add to Talon in that case, the secondary not adding anything to it at all (except + skills, but that's nit-picking :P )|||Quote:

first of all I want to thank you for making this clear for me... since I almost bought 2x fool's gt

however how do you mean cb is insignificant? I'm new @ kicksin pvp and I thought it worked great with kicks, since everybody seems to use guillame's face and I think you could care less about the 15% deadly strike comming from that... what do you think of this helm instead: 10fhr 5% ar visionary 40life 2sox?|||They use it in pvm. In PvP, OW basically replaces CB. ON how it's insignificant though, it takes a big penalty in pvp, and unless the opponent is high life and it triggers early, it won't be very effective as OW when chasing / locking an opponent.

Im actually not sure about +ar%, +ar does not add from offhand, not sure if +% adds any from offhand but its kinda a moot point since there aren't any claws to use for just that mod.

poison facets of course work but that's because they are global effects that increase venom damage, not something that transfers to kick directly.

So ya poison facets do benefit kicks from offhand but that's because they increase the venom damage itself.

cb% works well on pvm kickers, not pvp. Everyone uses guillaumes on their kicksin cause they build for pvm. So those are pvm builds you see people bring in pvp games. Or the players just dont know what they are doing.

so the helm you are thinking about is visionary/5%ar/2soc/40hp/10fhr? kinda pointless no? You are missing 2sin/20fcr, which is more important than all those mods you have combined. Need that 65fcr bp at the least for a pvp kicksin.

i once used a Gul'd bartucs off-hand on a 1.10 season 2 kicker.

that was a Duress build. used to SLAUGHTER sorks, but tended to get smashed by barbs and smiters.....
