Martial Arts Assassin Need Help

Hi there.

Just recently startet a new assassin which I was planning on makin a trapper.

But I've come to the conclusion that I would like a martial arts assassin better, since its close combat orientet and seems to need a more of an"active playstyle".

Im planning on using Pheonix Strike and most likely dual claws.

What im wondering ist what the best synergies for a pheonix strike assassin are.

- For instance what finishing move is best for this skill?



I was thinking of either max out pheonix strike, claws of fire and claws of thunder, and then use dragon claw for releasing pheonix strike along with either claws of thunder or claws of fire at the same time.

I was also thinking of using dragons tail as the finishing move, but I dont quite understand how this skill works.

It says that it ads a sertain procent in the form of fire damage. is that damage procentage calculatet from the weapon youre usings damage?

Thanks in advance.|||Not sure if there is a best. Pick whatever effect you like and boost that synergy I guess. It all gets around an immunity some how.



If dual wielding, DClaw would be a good option to capitalize on good claws. If they are medium to low, combo with Claw Mastery if needed.



Your two synergies should work well.



DTail is a slow kick. What it does is boost Physical damage tremendously. Half of what would have been taken (after considering physical resists and immunities) is treated as fire damage, with a bigger ratio directly dependent on the Fist of Fire synergy. A physical immune takes zero physical damage, and half of that is still zero. A fire immune takes half as physical, and no fire damage. With two resistances, each element is cut by that amount. It does not include any weapon damage, just usual kick damage calculations, like that for DFlight and DTalon. Weapons can indirectly influence it, such as boosting STR or something.
