Good weapon for Rift?

[:1]Just found/rolled a 4s Divine Scepter, I gather this is a slightly better weapon for Rift than a War Scepter? |||For a kicksin it won't matter all that much. You'll have the strength to equip war scepters, divine scepters, and caducei (plural form? Spell check seems to think so). Only the caduceus will increase the level requirement above that of the runeword itself. On an assassin it will only matter if you whack stuff with it or use blade shield. For a rift kicker it doesn't matter.

Personally I would go for a plain caddy so I could use it on a zealot too.|||If you're a kicker, the best weapon for Rift is the War Scepter IMO, because the weapon damage isn't needed and it just require 55 strenght.

But if you use Blade Sentinel, Blade Shield and/or Blade Fury then the weapon damage becomes important.|||Quote:

But you are likely to have the strength for you boots anyway - 156 for upped Gores.|||He use an upped pair of Gore Rider? Oh well, then i think the strenght requirement won't be a problem.

But a Caduceus also require 70 dexterity, while a War Scepter requires just 55 strenght. If he's not going to achieve the maximum block chance, then i think this is important too.|||You're all missing the fact, that the Rift runeword also has a -20% req in the stats.

|||What else are you guys normally using to go along with the Rift? Do you guys max try to max out the Orb damage? ( I read that in a guide a while ago )

Or do you guys go with max crushing blow? I currently have a kick/trapper using Stormlash and I was thinking this would be a cool change.
